Who Likes Aircraft ?

One of only two complete Stuka's in the world. One is in a museum in Chicago, this one in a British museum. There is a project here in the US, but its in pieces as it's a collection of wrecks from the plains of Russia. It will be a complicated build, as there are no original plans to be found.

They'll have to reverse engineer off the info available from rhe two current restos i imagine.

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --
On Nov. 28, 1956, the Ryan X-13 Vertijet made the world’s first jet vertical transition flight. Following a horizontal takeoff, test pilot Pete Girard put the test airplane into a vertical hover and then recovered flying speed for a conventional landing. This Edwards History Office file photo was captured at South Base on Oct. 24, 1956, during a vertical takeoff test.

Pretty oddball stuff going on in the 50's! Here's some promotional video of the same jet - a little jerky in places at the start but it smooths out. And it's in colour!

I've eaten many a tasty french fry under that XB-70.

BIG shadow. can accommodate a couple dozen folks.

Probably better for it inside.

IIRC there was one of those experimental VTOL craft not too far away.

So for the few(?) that read books. "Killing the Rising Sun" by Bill O'reilly.. Another awesome book with a lot of little tidbits of history by O'Reilly..

China has copied our Lockheed-Martin design aircraft
But, problem is they currently can not produce many
Also, "WE" are selling the F-35 to many countries however, our technology is not being shared
It is the advanced Avionics/ECM (Electric Counter Measures) RADAR that makes the jet a Viable world class war machine.
Certain things we will not share
