The Polara’s motor is identical to mine and we measured from the carburetor stud to the radiator support. Both the Fury and my car has a 440 in it with different intakes so we measured from the firewall to a valve cover bolt. Nothing is cobbled up on any of the cars so it’s either a tolerance buildup or the brackets on the k-frame are off. I might just have to grind slots in the k-frame brackets to slide the motor back. How can a trans mount swap move the engine when the engine mounts don't move? The engine mounts are far stiffer than a trans mount. unless it's got some kind of cobbled mounts on a slant 6 K frame? The engine should be in the correct location. I'm assuming all 3 of these cars are single 4 barrel. Measure the carb stud to the firewall on all 3. That will eliminate any pulley or accessory bracket discrepancies. That way you'll know for sure if its in the correct location.
