wiring help

That's the $100 question lol. I googled it and searched rockauto and have found no mention. I'll try the mopar sites and get back to you.

No. It looks more like this:

Has anybody used the electronic version from RT?

Fuseable links when bad...need to be replaced. I have found that mopar has called "fuses" as circuit breakers. I would have to look at it but it should be fairly obvious if it is a type that is resetable.

this item is the voltage limiter and if bad..needs to be replaced but I never seen it,being bad, preventing a car from turning over. It basicly is for control of the gauges on the circuit board.

Right, that is the voltage limiter for the gauges. The gauges work on 5v, and this thing cuts 12 down to 5. Only problems i ever heard it cause is dead or pegged gauges or fluctuations in gauge readings, not what you are describing.

Ok here is the latest. I pulled the fusible link out of the harness and ran it directly to the firewall, and the interior light light and no fuses blew. I put it back in to the harness and the interior lights worked, but still no crank. I tested for juice at the amp meter and the light went off and on. I pulled the dash again ( I am an expert now) and removed the amp gauge and reinstalled it and then reinstalled the dash and it NOW turns over!! But to get it to turn over, I had to bypass the neutral safety switch by running directly from the harness to the starter relay but it worked. I'll deal with that later. I have juice at the alternator and juice to the coil but no spark from the coil. How would I test the coil?

Also what would cause the oil pressure to pin the gauge when u turn the key on, no cranking.

So how'd all go? Did ya get her running? Seems like it was a bad connection at the ammeter or that circuit breaker, huh.
