I called last Friday on this car and spoke with the seller. He bought the car out of Fresno in 2014. Collision damage on the passenger front corner. Used fender and repo hood was part of the repair. New repo trunk floor. Fender tag in place, but when the car was soda blasted "many pinholes were in the fender tag".

Motor rebuilt by local NAPA machine shop. Several cylinders resleeved.

Seller owns a tire shop. Custom offset 18 and I'm not sure I like them.

Original F6 car, repainted with a custom color. One coat gold with green top coat.

No receipts. Selling to fund completion of a 1969 Charger.

Seller said he'd email me photos of fender tag, underbody, under hood, and interior, but nothing yet. I know it's priced high now, but what price drop should I wait for to buy my plane tickets?

Well, I wouldn’t pay $64k for it. Painted door latches and the green interior trim are turn-offs for me but not difficult to remedy. It would help to see the engine compartment and chassis shape. I don’t really know the market for 68 on b-bodies but I’ll throw out that dependent on the additional photos from $45 to $55k. If the drivetrain is matching to the car that would be a plus and maybe stretch the $55k a little further, but the sleeves may negate that in the minds of some buyers. BTT

Deduct $1000 for a "hood to grill" filler strip and paint at least !

That said, the front center lip of the hood looks weird. Is it fiberglass??? Is there actually a Ramcharger air box under it??

Window crank lying on floor, steering wheel and horn pad are TOAST..

Hood is a "repop" is all my notes say. He has a air box, but said "it's rusty and needs to be restored" according to my notes.

I'm supposed to get pictures soon.

And why would anyone blast a fender tag? I'm always so careful with them, just letting them sit in lacquer thinner until the paint lifts off.
If that car sells for 64K, it makes me feel real good about the value of mine.

Okay. If it was only one of the pictures I would have dismissed it as camera optics, but all the shots show it droops down more and more towards the center. The front lip edge is straight, as that works on the '68 and '69 gets a filler strip added to make it work on the 69 grill..

For me I just would not be able to get past the painted scoops and 383 emblems on the fenders. I would have to remove them as well as fix the interior paint and to do the exterior paint match. I just would walk away at above $25k. I have a feeling there may be paint adhesion problems in the future brought on by the wholesale paint it all prep. Look at that steering wheel too, it just seems like a splash and shoot car to me. I know those details don't bother everyone but they would bother me.

Those are details that show you quality of the car. It seems tossed together to sell/flip.
Way too much. Walk away.

Black hood scoops are the "Spring Special" package. That said I don't like them either..

As for the dual fender / hood badging there are actually more than a few cars that came off the assembly line that way. Then there are my hood scoops that never had a hole drilled into them for emblems!

In no particular order, I don't like the:
wheels,
fiberglass hood,
black hood scoops,
black quarter panel scoops,
tail stripe (is that bee even correct?),
fit between passenger fender/door,
paint on door latch,
lime green steering column, &
etc.

In summary, I don't like this particlar car.

The asking price is ridiculous; and I wouldn't be interested at $35k.

Keep looking.

That's a car built to flip.

Trying to sell it while still working on it. Sell fast and on to next flip. Stuff skipped that uneducated buyers would miss that has low return on investment and can't be bought off the shelf quickly.

Flashy custom paint color, eye catching rims, repro side scoops, Willwood brand brakes to add credibility, etc. Bolt-ons you can order with little time trying to find used parts for.

I missed the hood at first pass. That’s pretty bad. I think that, combined with the green interior accents and painting door latches etc, would pretty much convince me to give it a pass altogether. Whoever put the car together had some strange detailing ideas and wasn’t too concerned about details. So who knows what else lurks in it.

You'd think a listing for a $64K B-Body would have under hood and chassis photos as well as trunk photos. No VIN or fender tag info in the ad tells me the seller probably isn't a Mopar guy and there's going to be many "incorrect" things on the car.

I would want to see a lot more detailed photos before considering a plane ticket.

Seller promised a email link to lots of photos, but nothing received, so far.

I really think the interior color looks awful next to the new exterior color.
The bench seat column shift is a downside as well.
