...What will we look back upon in a couple of hundred years and regret? I don't think you can answer without getting the thread banned but it's interesting to think about.

X2^^^ Humanity is pretty screwed up at this snapshot in time, so plenty to regret. We are all comfortably numb.

This topic REALLY needs to be discussed in greater detail in the political forum. The most accurate answers would be directly related to moves or actions by highly influential people and that stuff is a hornet's nest in the General forum.

An equally interesting question might be to look back 200 years ago and ask what regrets a person from that time might have had.

I don't do regrets. We can make plans and set goals, but ultimately, we're just testing out different possibilities to see what works and what doesn’t. The future is just an opportunity to try new things, learn from our mistakes, and hopefully improve on our first possibilities. I don't necessarily think about redo's, every change or missing that day, that made the whole plan come together would totally change the things I have, the few things that I hold dearly. Yes, I would like to change a few things, but they have nothing to do with my country, or the outside world. That's up to God to sort out........... He's taking me home, I can live with that.

Over mommying our children and making it too easy for them. I see it everywhere, entitled little b*&^$), people that won't work OT, out of town or nights and weekends if they do have a job, no realization that effort=lifestyle.

I'll always regret not buying that 1965 GTO for $700.
Despite being a college student with about $500.

I think that if I'm still here in a couple hundred years, I'll look back and have a lot of stories to tell. If my memory still works.

Agreed!!! However, most likely, I will not be around, so why even contemplate its absurdity??? Besides, right now isn't all that great, but still I wouldn't trade the time here as a wasted endeavor...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:
