I recently read something in a thread about a member " cutting down" his windshield to fit. Said there was excess, where the 2 halves met, that stuck out, iirc. Seemed odd to me. I assumed sloppy manufacturing. Does your windshield use a rubber gasket ? If so, the flexing must be major, for it...
Thanks, but actually the stripe is hemi orange. It was painted on, before the clear. Hemi orange has gold flake in it. We added extra flake, so it would pop in the sunlight. :)

I was going to post pics of a truck i replaced the entire body on, and of the quarter replacement of my net, but after 3 tries to upload one pic, i give up - again. Posting pics here is always a pita, for some reason.
I finally spoke with the previous owner. He seemed unaware, and willing to cooperate. So today i called the title agency & sang my song. The clerk said for me to have an out of state inspection done, bring them the form, and they would issue a correct title. I drove straight to the car dealer...
The bed, cab, fenders, and hood all have the same faded old paint. And looking at the chips on it all, it appears to have had one repaint, the same color, over the original factory paint.
