Something positive we all felt after 9/11, that we are all Americans of varying ethnicity, but united against the RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISTS who seek to destroy what western civilization has accomplished. Much of that has been lost, mostly in the past 7 years.

Oldbee, I love Americans (and Canadians!!!). Some Americans have different experiences than me and I'd like to understand them better. I think that Steve does love America and I'd like to understand his position better. Besides, he's a FBBO guy, so just for that, I'd like to meet him! (Recall that I hosted a FABO and FBBO picnic last May. We had a great time then and we'll do it again in October.)

I shouldn't just leave the list there. I love all peoples who yearn to be free and respect others. I have only met a small amount of other peoples (South Koreans, Egyptians, Austrailians, Brits, Frenchies, Irish, Mexicans and Canadians) and I can say that of all the people that I've met, I love them all! I wish they all could be free and able to live without restrictions of haters. I pray for everyone and I wish you all to be free and happy throughout your lives.
 
Today was difficult, watching all the 9/11 shows and the reading and testimonials of the victims family's and friends was heart wrenching .I found my self in tears several times. I had to stop watching after a will and get outside. this whole day had a detached feeling about it, oddly quit outside. there was a still in the air i cant explain.that day fifteen years ago will never be forgotten.
My girlfriend at the time was in Manhattan that day she called telling me to put the t.v. on a plane had hit one of the twin towers and she was trying to get out of the city after that call the second plane hit,I did not hear from her till the evening, cell service was out.never been so worried in my life.
My buddy Cactus worked for the MTA at a substation at the corner of 100 church st.around the corner from the twin towers I did not hear from him for three ,four days. we always kept in touch .turns out he stayed in the city to help with the rescue and clean up. 5 years later he died from esophageal cancer. they thought they got all the cancer but it spread to his thyroid glands. It was from all the toxic crap in the air he inhaled. He was a Mopar man for sure. had a wicked 65 coronet pro street and was building a blown Hemi when his time ran out.
Sorry for the rant guess I needed to talk about it . God bless us all except the terrorist mother f*@kers !!

In the now . It's hard to say things because it offends this person or that group. America used to be great . We have turned into a bunch of pussys. Why the hell do I care if I offended a museum? Or some group of people are offended because I fly my American flag every single day! If they don't like it I will help them the hell out! I hate alot of people! I won't lie its true but I like alot to ,the people that help and love one another and are productive for a brighter future I'm good with. Then you have the scummers that are "intitled" they rob steal hurt make people's lives bad hurt others ect. Those people need to be taken car if because the young generation is seeing these people getting a free ride and why should they try? Our society is falling apart because of the lazy people that are sucking at the tit of American government. Witch brings me to the free loading museums that our government puts them up free of charge pays for school for them they drive around new cars ect. Why are we letting these people in were at war with them I don't care if they say they love America. They sure as hell don't when they complain about the flag or stick there dorm full of guns to kill us after his free ride was over. I kid you not we had one 10 mins from my house he got kicked out of school and instead of getting on a plane they never checked in on him he was arming himself with enough weapons to arm a military he git caught because some good ol boy got in an argument with him over an American flag then they got intone scuffle so on then after they found he wasn't supposed to be here they checked his Hotel room and found all the guns and ammo. All these f ers are out to get us get rid of them now before its to freaking late . Sorry if they are in happy because they can't get there free school tough s***
This crap makes me so made . These people come here kill hundreds of people in multi different cases and we still let them wtf?
Then to top it of the government wants to take our guns away ? Should we just give everything to the museums now or what?

None of the History Channel documentaries included the Bush speech from Ground Zero. May have missed it, but it needs to be seen. Second only to the Reagan Challenger speech. Leaders with balls in the wake of this kind of tragedy are priceless. God Bless the USA.

It is. I was at a car club even today here in Sacramento. A guy there is a pilot that was friends with one of the Co-pilots on flight 93. This is the first time that I'd ever met someone that actually knew a victim. I hear about it, read about it but being on the west coast, I never seemed to meet anyone that mentioned it.
It was uncomfortable for a moment. As he told of his friend, I was in the unusual position of not knowing what to say. Wrong time for my smart *** comments for certain. I've had losses regarding disease in the family but never lost anyone due to murder, terrorism or accidental death. I could only respond to the guy how incredibly brave his friend must have been to have the interests of the country in mind in terms of downing the plane in an unpopulated area rather than toward buildings or houses. The situation must be unfathomable to anyone that has not been there. These people faced certain death yet displayed regard and respect of others. **** yeah they are heros.

Some of you i didn't know back in 2014. I don't write much anymore but this i did back in 2014. One thing i recall is working the pile and i was with a guy named Mickey. Mickey was a little older than me and i looked up to him. The kind of guy everybody liked and respected. He was a VN vet never said much about what he saw but i found out that he saw a lot of things nobody should ever see. When we were at the pile,Mickey had a strange expression,you could see it in his face. When it got to time to go back we all stayed much longer. Mickey had enough and left. Months later i found out why. Mickey smelled and felt something i never did and that was death. Mickey had enough of death for dozen guys and wanted to go home and wash the ash that was all over him. We were all depressed after the attack,i know i was. I wanted to wake up like a bad dream. Then of course the people you knew who died. There is a area of SI near the old navy home port were you can park next to the water and look over the harbor to the city. Many folks went down there after the attack. You would see the search lights and the smoke just billowing up into the air for weeks and weeks. It was like folks were going down there to pay there respects. Days after the attack a guy i worked with on outside works was having having fits. Another guy we worked with a fireman who was a welder,they couldn't find him. He was suppose top be doing a side job but went to work at the firehouse. He was there in the towers trying to save people when the towers came down. My friend was flipping out saying he could find him,maybe he was still alive. I told him stop,sit down. Look at me. Allan is gone.... They found Al months later. I have to go and take care of the wife,i could type for another hour. Remember we were united and i hope some day we will be again-----

So your a Muslim you hate the country,F-ing obama administration welcomes you with open arms and the NRA says buy any weapon you want as long as you pass a background check and you people have no problem with that.
