1964 Plymouth Savoy Build

Maybe, I sourced mine from AMD but that was 2 years ago.

Classic Industries sells them as well.

Chuck is that a 3 core?
Yes, it is 3 row core, they are large oval shape in a row from front to back. You got one on me though on if the cap rivet size is correct? Not an expert on how they looked in 64 so I hopping that the one Glen-Ray supplied is correct? I'm glad somebody notice that because I want it correct as much as possible

I need help on sourcing the right fan clutch, I have the 7 Blade aluminum fan with the 4 rivets in a triangles shape but the clutch I have is from a 69, and too tall at 3.25" I need one a little shorter at like 2.50. My sources say a 2268903 or an 2806070. I found a replacement number that replaces they 2268903 and many others but it said it's 3.75. Mancini racing has a re manufactured 2806070 ands is 2.5246" would that be a correct one for a 64 max wedge? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for all the following and advise! You guys are a big help on me making this as right as possible

I thought it would be a 3 core. I think that's Bob's rule. Mine was as well. He always sends the later larger rivit cap out with the radiators.

Think your looking for fan rivets in a T but confirm it not an expert. The fan in picture isn't right one this is an X pattern.

Not too sure on which fan or fan clutch is correct for MW engine. I know you'll need the shortest fan clutch you can find due to the limited space between it and radiator. I sourced my 7 blade steel fan from Mancini. And the fan clutch from Napa which is a Hayden unit. This was for my 64 426-S.

I don't know if copies are still available but this book would be a great reference

Looks like a later fan

Thanks for the link on the fan blade. The early ones had the 4 rivets in a T pattern and the later once where 5 rivets in an X pattern is what I’m finding.
Thought if it wasn't if you could buy it cheap enough until the right one came along. Thanks now I know what to look for. Bought the X one at a swap meet $15.

Ok got fuses installed and battery connected! LET THERE BE LIGHT! Lol! No putting in the bulbs front and back, going to run red LED in rear for better safety. They will be much brighter and respond faster.

Also got the 070 fan clutch from Mancini. I have 3/8 clearance between clutch and radiator with the Glen Ray 3 core, will mount the fan blade next and see where it lines up. Also need to mount the fan belt, trying to get a mopar one

On the belt I have only seen back to 66. Quanta had them. The gas tank guy's.

Plenty of room!
Lol! I was hoping you would say that! I read about your post when you could not get your fan belt past it. You had less then that I think. And you drove it for 2 years with no issues right? If so then I know I won’t have to worry about more space. Thanks

Yeah I think I had a little less actually....two years and a few WOT and my Glen Ray remains unscathed! HA!
