1964 Plymouth Savoy Build

Got the torsion bars ready and installed, these are 776 and 777 torsion bars. Made sure to lube them both at each end, also correct sides and direction. Everything went together simply and smooth. Waiting for shocks to come in so once those are installed the suspension is finished

Out standing work. A very devoted person you are. Perfection is the course. What type radio. Will it have CD. That is the way I went. Love my CD's not all that chit chat and commercials from the broad caster's.

I purschased a 3/4" Cooper B-line steel oil tight hole seal for a conduit box hole and having painted and clear coat with my left over car paint and cap the hole off. Should look good. I installed one of the QA1 -R front shock on the car. I like it and it will work well with transferring weight when launching the car.

If the radio was factory installed, of course there was an antenna there. If it was dealer installed, they got a template to locate the hole for the antenna and had to drill it. Otherwise there was no hole, no plug.
I thought we were talking about oem radio delete cars?

I discovered my transmission shifter levers where not 64 b body type so I ordered them from Brewers.
The reverse lever hole where the rod adjuster connects was the right size(3/8). But the 1&2 lever and 3&4 lever holes where too small for the shift rods so I drilled them out with my drill press. Hardened steel so took some time to do. Got them all on now and it's correct. Locked the shifter with pin then installed levers and rods. Also mounted the cross member and mount with new hardware.

Now these manifolds are definitely well engineered. The went in smooth and easy. Lots of room to get to the mounting studs and cleared everything nicely. Well designed by mopar so long ago.

Mopar's all had the problem of getting to the plugs on the passenger side. Have to get under the car to remover them. Just my two cent's.

Next is the Carburetors, I'm going to use Edelbrock EVA2 1904. These are what A&A Transmission recommends for the engine. Also going to order the TTI Max Wedge Exhaust system.

Mounted the parking brake release rod and assembly. Also this is the cover I'm going to use over the antenna hole in the fender

Got a Detroit(Trunnion style) Joint for the drive shaft and overhauled it with a new boot. Had Inland Empire Driveshafts custom make me a driveshaft. I degreesed the shaft and sprayed it with clear coat to keep the natural metal look. Then mounted it in the car.
