Is the shaking an even rhythm or erratic? If steady beat then one cylinder isn't firing because of several factors. Low compression, lean mixture in that intake runner, bad plug, bad wire and so on. If erratic then likely the ignition has issues or the carbs are way out of whack. Do you have the OEM carbs with the large air bypass screws at the front?
