1968 440 with stock manifolds (cam selection help.)

nearest I can come to was a matching number original superbird with 383 and 4 speed 3.54 gears
had to look stock so 440 crank and long 440 ly rods gave 426
we had Crower do a custom (idle like stock) ended up [email protected] with a .904 profile hyd I remembered the lift came out at .550 but find out my memory is shot so more like .525-530 but I think we ended up with 1.6 rockers and relocated shafts
heads were ported by the late Kay Sissel - os valves in the oem castings
custom pistons with reverse deflector and dish to fill up the bad part of the chamber on the away from the spark plug size
I still have the spare piston
you could try Dart19666 mopar guy at Crower (not there for our build)
otherwise Engle as stated above Engle and DC profiles are better than chevy grinds but not radical- they wear well
if you do do roller rockers but consult with B3 first
next best thing you could do is change your pistons to quench dome such as KB has
less fussy and need less timing, less fussy on the fuel and ping resistant- get some quench when and if you rebuild
the stock carb and exhaust build does NOT like overlap- makes it run hot so work with some one with stock experience
shorter duration and as much lift as you can get if your heads are ported (as much area under the curve)
I'd even suggest a solid cam
cheers
