Yes for sure, this kit cost me 1500USD here incl taxes and delivered. Back home, the same kit would cost me about 2350USD. So definately worth the hassle.

In 1997 wife had large 10" scissors she was doing needle point. They opened the bag and were looking at her and back at the scissors. They saw the the needle point and decided to let her go. Before you get onto Hwy 1, get fueled up in at least Monterrey. Working fuel stops are minimal until you get to Cambria which has a Shell station on the north end. Weather should be good depending on when you head down. This is what its like today from my deck looking north at the rock in Morro Bay.

Packed it in my checked in luggage, arrived at Oslo airport and couldn't stop myself from opening the bags right there next to the baggage reclaim. Lo and behold, it's all there! Now stored on the shelf next to the Charger.. Nice trip but there's no place like home!

Its a good thing that you were able to take your trip down Hwy 1 when you did. This last rainstorm got a rockslide going and its now closed at Ragged Point. Bummer as I was still wanting to make a run during the week with my sweetie and furry kids. Oh well, have to wait.

Yeah, I heard there were quite heavy storms hitting the coast just after we flew home.

2.6" here on Monday. Fast and furious for a bit but not bad. January however was 11" here in 24 hrs. Lots of sand got moved. Up by Hearst Castle and the general areas east they got 24+" in that time frame. That closed 1 down until June to do repairs.

Finally back to square one on the door pillar issue. Passenger side was about 1/4" too far in making the seal not closing and gave the door latch a lose feeling. I could literally push the door inwards about 1/4" after it was in locked position. Drilled out a bunch of spotwelds, some cutting and some massaging it's finally looking really good. Inner roof is also almost done. Still haven't started it though..

Slowly getting there. Headliner completed, rear glass incl trim, trunk seal, trim around vinyl top and charger emblems in place. I was missing window stop brackets so I borrowed some oem and had them copied at work, water cutter and bending machine is nice to have access to sometimes. Made 6 pcs of each bracket so I can help others in need.

Cleaned and prepared the door pads. Sending them to one of Swedens best upholstery shops. I also need them to find matching fabric to the seats. Haven't found anything local or online that matches the leather texture and color. But these guys can dye it to match perfectly, so they say atleast.
The pads are from a 69 so I closed the old locking nob holes and drilled new ones to fit my 68.

Front bumper on, led licens plate light and rear view camera in place. As everything else the bumper bracket was crooked so it had to be massaged. Piece by piece.

I bought this carpet from Year One 14 years ago and it's been on the shelf ever since. I haven't even glanced at it and didn't notice until today that Year One sent me the wrong model. I ordered an auto trans carpet for another Charger with a 727 auto. Well, it turns out that I got a 4 speed carpet with the hump which is exactly what I need now! Couldn't believe my eyes.. thank you Year one for your **** up (checked the old receipts and I did order an auto carpet)!

Should I try doublesided tape or sandbags and heat to get the right shape in the corners and flatten it out?
