1969 Charger R/T resurrection

The Coppersunset is actually just a base/clear color and not a 3 stage like some of the other Hot Hues colors. It does not change much at all when viewed at different angles. I do like it but will need to find what is comparable from Martin Senour.

Found this car online this morning. It is claimed to be T5, but definitely not the color I was shown at the body shop yesterday.

Those Copper colors show different in photos allot both the T5 & T7 look allot different depending on who's camera & what the settings are, even the lighting where it's shot, can & will effect the photos... Example the 2 bottom ones/cars are T7 the top one is T5....

Don't suppose any of you guys have a Martin Senour paint code for the T5?

So this is what my car would look like in copper. 6 pack scoop and everything. I may have to consider it again. :)

Thanks for posting those links to the frame measurements for the Coronet. That's a huge help for me.

I kind of like that one to. I wish I had the paint code for it.

I think that is T7 also. I just sold a T7 RR convertible in that color, so want something a little different than that.

The restored gauge cluster was dropped off today from Redline. Looks really nice although it will be awhile before it finds its home inside the car. Piece by piece and it will make a complete vehicle again.

Those look great elk, I re-faced mine but did Redline also check them for accuracy and all that?

They told me they did, but I will build up a test station and check for myself before putting everything back together.

Awesome, I've heard good things about them so hopefully everything checks out. Were you gonna use the stock bulbs to light it? I'm gonna try LED's with the stock lenses but haven't had a chance to get them yet

I'm using the factory style bulbs - that is the plan for now at least.

Those gauges came out really well. You'll be driving before you know it.

Looks like they did a great job. Be sure to make the fake car noises, while bench testing the gauges. Got that out of the factory service manual for ya.

Sounds like fun Prop - but I think the wife would really think I lost it if she walked in the garage when that was happening.lol

my wife never caught me, but my olest aughter did...just rolled her eyes and turned around!

Is that in there before or after sitting on a loose driver's seat pretending to drive the completely stripped car? lol

Gauges look great. Loosen up a little, if someone would have came in the garage after I resolved my tranny problems and laid some rubber they'd thought a was a retard for sure, hand banging, air guitar, hoot'n and hollering, dancing, "maybe I am retarted".
