1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Restoration

:usflag:Looks like you'll be busy doing repairs. Good thing much of the goodies needed can be had.
Absolutely!

I have a Mopar salvage yard about an hours drive from my house. I'm making my missing parts list to see what OEM part make sense to purchase and what aftermarket parts should go on the car. It should be interesting/expensive

Ok....so I believe I have decodeded the VIN and Fender Tag

VIN: RM23H9G119210

R= Belvedere/Satellite
M= Roadrunner
23= 2-Door Coupe
H= 383 Ci 4BBL
9= 1969
G= St. Louis (Fenton Plant)
Sequence = 119210

Fender Tag (Starting from bottom left)

RM23= Plymouth Belvedere, Satellite Medium, Roadrunner 2-Door Hard Top

H96= 383 330 HP or 335HP 1-4BBL 8CYL, Newark, DE USA

119210 = Sequence Number

E63= 383 4BBL V8 High Performance

D21= 4-Speed Manual Transmission

T5= Copper Metallic (Dodge) - Bronze Fire Metallic (Chrysler) Exterior Color

H2T= Trim-High, Vinyl Bench Seat-Tan

T7= Dark Bronze Metallic (Dodge), Saddle Bronze Metallic (Chrysler & Imperial) interior.

911= Build Date: September 11 1969

09109= Order Number

J25= 3-Speed Wipers

M21= Roof Drip Rail Mouldings

N96= Fresh Air Hood

R11= Radio Solid State AM (2 Watt)

V21= Performance Hood Treatment

V6W= Longitudinal Stripes, White

So...what do you think? This is what the 440 block is painted (Mopar Turquoise).

Will a Turquoise 440 look with Bronze Fire Metallic and White Longitudinal Stripes?

Or...should I ignore the Fender Tag and go a different direction?

Thoughts?
