1969 Road Runner facelift

Thanks, I got a little solvent popping in the clear once it cure out. Not really happy about that but I think I can deal with it, it should go away when I cut and buff.

Solvent pop? Were you rushing Dave???
I'm sure it will buff out.

That's my favorite, unwrapping it to see what it looks like.

See...that's what you get for flicking it the bird while drying..lol Hopefully a little wet sanding or machine/compound will flatten that out for you. That white roof vs. Bronze body looks great! I take it you still plan on the white vinyl?

Wasn't rushing it, I actually gave it way more time than the spec sheet said for the clear. It's always spooky spraying new products on something you care about. especially on an over all job, not just a panel.

using metalux high solids clear.

Yes I'm still putting the vinyl top on, can't wait to get it on there.

thanks, It's really cloudy and threatening rain so I just rolled it out real quick for a look in the daylight. It's back in the garage and I'm taking the night off. lol!

I'm shot!

I know what your saying about working with something new on something you care about, I'm using House of Colors (semi translucent) for the first and having a little learning to do. Good thing I had all of the door jams etc to get used to it. Regardless your car turned out great and any flaws you might critique most will never be able to spot.

Outstanding work Dave! Thats a beauty and love those wheels!!

King Dave!
