I always thought the 73 and 74 were the same, If you order the bulge hood stripes (RR) there the same for each year, or was at Year-One when i ordered them. just my 2 cents.. And blackblazer, thats a no no sending something, not part of the deal, but thanks...

73' hoods have the bbq grills on top of it, 74' hoods do not have them. I am not sure tough if they used those hoods in 74´s too.

Not sure on the scoop grilles, all i know if the hood itself is original to my car.

the scoops will interchange with 73-74. my 74 i had didn't have the grills,just inserts. you're still doing good work on the car.

Ive got lots of pics to post but i dont know how to resize them first. there on my smart phone. Never had a problem until now with my phone pics.
Apparently the size limit is 800x1000, im not sure how to resize them.... Hummmm

I wanted. Three bolt cam. Due to me wanting to runt a gear drive.

Program to do your pictures blazer, here is a link for a program that will give you what you need to resize any pictures, its the 3rd one up from the bottom (Free image Converter) Good luck.. Works for me using Fire Fox as a browser, hopefully it will for you!!

Yep, that's a 74. At the back of the hood (by the windshield) there are two grilles for fresh air into the cowl. Reckon they figured out that it didn't help fresh air into the cowl, but let a lot of water in.

No new tank currently, maybe next winter. Haha, but iirc you can get a trank from sherman parts or even rock auto. I found them once before. Ill look later and see. But i no you can getthe sender, straps and hardware from www.vansauto.com i am prty sure you can get a tank from rock auto, or at least youused to be able to. There products change so often.

Completely ready for paint now, shown is both with the sheet metal valve covers that will be used after paint, and dummy covers that ill use to paint it. Enjoy

Looks good.. You don't need to find a source, Im not planning this for a couple months and if one of these sites you mentioned has them, ill check there.. I should be able to use my own sending unit and mounting, If you come across something cheaper, even used i would like to know, If used it has to be in real good shape, the one on my car had rust in it, but looked new and i don't want to take a chance, last summer my fuel pump (electric) started getting loud---er and im betting it got a little rust in there, But it did quiet back down to loud normal.. thanks.

Sure hope ya didnt get rust up to the carb. No fun!!! Time for a tank, if it were me u would swap a new one in.... No used junk.
