ThNks bud. Its slow with work and all coming first. Ill take some more photos of the tunnel when i make the new top plate. Waiting for the new shifter boot to some to use as a referance

Finished the trans tunnel repair, pulled the engine and started cleaning engine bay. Pics to come. Upload is being dumb again

Whats the deal with the gauges? Is that cluster a GTX thing? The gauges in my old 74' RR were round.

Your car was optioned for a rallye dash. This car has some bazzare options, like standard guages but deluxe interior, just how this one came.
If you look close i modified the bezel, no more heat controls or radio... ;-) clever

I copied a bit of what you said there, What did you do with the heater controls? You arent going to use them or you hid them away? The reason im asking is the last time i was out in my car it got a little dark real quick on a fall evening and the heater was a welcome thing riding home, other then something like that i wouldn't really need it myself. I think it looks good how you did it, just thinking if you get caught out on a dreary miserable damp day/night you may need them? And yes i know what curiosity did to the cat! lol..

And looking at your front bumper there's some 124 buffing compound that will shine that baby right up! I have the site i order my supply's if you decide you need anything like that somewhere here.. Same compound works great on the headlight bezels and other pieces like that.. There may be better then that out there, but a guy that works at a chrome shop told me about it.. I have a couple pics of mine if you want to see the before and after looks.

This car isnt a 440, its originally a 400, it has a 440 now.... And yes its a gtx, and yes its a 4spd. And yes all the books say theres no such car, but guess what. I have one. Dont ask me how, but i do! So all the "purist can believe it or not. But this 74 is a big block 4 spd GTX. End of story!!!

And thanks ron, yes i nd to compound out the bumpers, the rear one is dull too. They wont be perfect but will be better.
And as for the heat/radio i deleted the heater, yes i no on the cold mornings headed to the swap meets and cruises ill nd to bundle, no worries. Hehe.

And im not so sure why your being the way you are. I appriciate your interest. But yes, its a 400 4spd roadrunner.
Non matching 440. And i posted a pic of the tag on here already,cant rememver what thread. Im tellin you, this car is beyond bazzare dude. No fibs here!
Having owned, and own my fair share of mopars this one is beyond weird.
Ill dig up another tag photo at some point

Got the gear drive timing set in the mail last night from RJ racing. Nice piece. Ill take a pic tonight after work. Ordered some engine parts. Waiting on the flywheel and clutch. More to cime! The beast is coming together
