I just bought my tank from vans auto. They have the best price, but I will tell you that I don't know if I will ever use them again. I ordered a new tank, sending unit and washer bottle from them for my 72 RR. 2 weeks later my tank shows up but no sending unit, plus the washer bottle had a broken cap. I called and asked about the sending unit and they said they don't know and will have to check. The next day I get a call back and the sending unit was on a 2 week backorder!! WHY DIDNT THEY LET ME KNOW THAT BEFORE THEY TOOK MY MONEY! So I said alright and waited 3 long weeks and called them again. They're response was that they were now on a 4 to 8 week backorder!
I canceled my order from them and ordered elsewhere had it in the tank and the RR up and running within a week.

Can you tell me how much there asking for a tank? My sending unit seems to work good maybe i should get a new one? Thanks.

Tank was $140, the sending unit was $50 and it was stainless steel

Vans has gd prices but qebsite quality it poor, as mentioned, no way to tell if things are backordered or not.

Thanks guys, yea the covers are.really starting to grow on me. I cleared them so they wouldnt corrode, i was gunna polish and zoop seal them, but i felt they would end up too glittery. Lol

Your welcome, i found out about them a couple yrs ago at Carlisle PA. Mopar nats. I liked there prices, evenin if the stuff is made in ishboo land.

Next on the list, making some headers. And sart assembly of everything else, youguts no how it goes.
New clutch and flywheel came.
Got a Zoom Clutch and a McCloud flywheel.
Nice stuff, electric fabs and controller also arrived. Pics to come.

Decided i hate the way my headers turned out..... I need a starter and some hardware.
Finished making a battery try out of a swap meet Ebody unit. Ill snap a pic for ya. Pic **** lovers later. For now.

Not quiet an update for the car but im sidetracking and making a custom mailbox for the house.... In early stages of bodywok. Haha.
Will be mopar all the way no worries.... Enjoy, finish product by the end of the week...
