2017 7th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Time For Your NITRO Fix! Get Ready To Make Your Picks!!!

I had a bunch of event winners last couple seasons
& lost out on a bunch of the qualifying picks 1-2-3 points,
"all them little points"
they do really add up a bunch too...
Seems I'd do seemingly well & go backwards :BangHead:

Not choosing, my total refusal to choose Tony Schumacher,
or lack of choosing Doug Kalitta,
he seemingly always goes out early when I pick him,
or when I pick Matt Hagan or John Force they/he goes out early too,
all that has hurt me at times...
Ron Capps, Jason Line & Eddie Kraweic have done me good, for points
& bad at times, last year anyway...
My favorite drivers are
T/F Antron Brown, F/C Ron Capps, P/S Alan Johnson, P/SM Matt Smith
but unless they look like they are doing well,
picking with your heart or your favorites/drivers is kind of dumb...

I am a bit guilty of picking with my heart too much or some is
tradition of someone running really well at a specific track too...

Or just a wild *** guess, like everyone else does

Anyways
It's all hit & miss zero or hero, depends on the raceday...

good luck everyone
Houston next week should be a "fast/quick event"
as long as weather & heat holds off

64Bel,
I'm going backwards I think....
Budnicks, you always do good with this.......

I cant figure this out, If you win a final does that count for big points or is it picking the #1 qualifier?
(I'm so confused)
Multiple race winners is best

I just read on competition.com that Terry Chandler (she funds both the Infinite Warrior funny car team and the Make A Wish funny car team for DSR) had surgery Monday to remove a tumor from the front lobe of her brain. The article said she will be resting at home for the next 3 weeks before starting radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
Let's all wish her well for a quick and speedy recovery and complete healing.

Here's your Tuesday before the event reminder to post your picks for the upcoming NHRA Spring Nationals at Royal Purple Raceway in Bayatown, Texas - Pro qualifying starts Friday, April 21, at 5:30PM EDT (2:30PM PDT).
Post your picks for Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
The NHRA.com website currently shows 16 Top Fuel, 16 Funny Car and 13 Pro Stock entries. Pro Stock Motorcycle is not competing at this event.
Check to verify your picks are actually entered for this event.

Oh yeah, Shawn Langdon is entered in a 3rd Top Fuel entry from Kalitta Motorsports.

I'll be at MATS in Las Vegas this weekend so there won't be any last minute reminders to post your picks. Also, please have a little patience - I'll get the results posted as soon as possible. It's going to be a busy couple of days following the weekend as I leave on business travel on Wednesday, April 26 for the remainder of that week.

should be good even for fast times & MPH...
I wonder if they'll get qualifying in ?
If so how many rounds ?
last I saw only 13 P/S were entered too...
IIRC only 16 T/F & 16 F/C too...

NHRA pro classes are dying a slow death...

I checked the weather,
It says low 83*'s rain/thunderstorms Thurs. Fri. Sat.
mostly sunny Sunday 73*
