I had a bunch of event winners last couple seasons
& lost out on a bunch of the qualifying picks 1-2-3 points,
"all them little points"
they do really add up a bunch too...
Seems I'd do seemingly well & go backwards
Not choosing, my total refusal to choose Tony Schumacher,
or lack of choosing Doug Kalitta,
he seemingly always goes out early when I pick him,
or when I pick Matt Hagan or John Force they/he goes out early too,
all that has hurt me at times...
Ron Capps, Jason Line & Eddie Kraweic have done me good, for points
& bad at times, last year anyway...
My favorite drivers are
T/F Antron Brown, F/C Ron Capps, P/S Alan Johnson, P/SM Matt Smith
but unless they look like they are doing well,
picking with your heart or your favorites/drivers is kind of dumb...
I am a bit guilty of picking with my heart too much or some is
tradition of someone running really well at a specific track too...
Or just a wild *** guess, like everyone else does
Anyways
It's all hit & miss zero or hero, depends on the raceday...
good luck everyone
Houston next week should be a "fast/quick event"
as long as weather & heat holds off
