I just read on competitionplus.com that the current word coming out of Pro Stock is there is a new Mustang Pro Stocker coming out of the Elite Performance camp. But it's not for either Erica Enders or Jeg Coughlin Jr. The thought is it's for team owner Richard Freeman.
...and the rumors say it won't be 'Blue Oval' powered.
Yep the death spiral of NHRA Pro-Stock
bastardized BS, any engine brand, in any make nonsense
I saw that statement on one of the shows last race
they talked about building a new car, even said a Mustang...
GM powered Mustangs aren't rare, just in NHRA P/S
it's more the norm than an oddity in most other
drag racing org.'s or many other drag racing classes/indexes
Much like the 'Chrysler based design' Hemi powers almost every
T/A, T/F, F/C, blown pro-mod in all of drag racing
Notice today on both competitionplus.com and nhra.com that the Northwest Nationals (Aug. 3-5) are now the CatSpot NHRA Northwest Nationals since Scott Palmer's Top Fuel ride sponsor, CatSpot Organic Litter, is now the event title sponsor. I wonder if GEICO becomes a NHRA event title sponsor if we'll have the "Tinky Poo Poo" Nationals?
Word on nhra.com also that Jason McCulloch (former crew chief with Brian Husan for Brittany Force) has now joined Scott Palmer's Top Fuel team - no specific word on his title.
