Here's your day-after-"Tuesday-before-the-event" reminder for the Virginia NHRA Nationals that starts Friday, June 8th.
The entry list currently shows:
15 Top Fuel
18 Funny Car
17 Pro Stock
21 Pro Stock Motorcycle

The current forecast calls for a high temps of 87F on Friday, then 90F on Saturday and then dropping to 80F on Sunday with a 50%-70% of thunderstorms during the racing schedule hours.
Let's hope they can get this event in on Sunday.

Well, the blind squirrel found another acorn. 'ocdart' (FABO) somehow managed to be the Top Qualifier for the 2018 NHRA Virginia Nationals blundering his way to 29.5 bonus points by picking the #1 qualifier in both Funny Car and Pro Stock, the #2 qualifier in Pro Stock Motorcycle and the #5 qualifier in Top Fuel.
'memike' (FABO) was right behind in the runner-up spot with 28.0 bonus points.
'Budnicks' was the top FBBO picker with 27.5 bonus points.

Congratulations to 'memike' (FABO) for winning "Top Picker Eliminator" title with an outstanding point total of 148.0 points. Both his Top Fuel and Funny Car picks won their class. And both of his Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle picks lost in the second round of eliminations. He was helped with both ET and Speed bonus points in both Funny Car and Pro Stock.
'ocdart' (FABO) was the runner-up with 139.5 points.
'Nick2317' was the top FBBO scorer with 111.0 points

The 11th race of the 2018 season, the Fitzgerald USA NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, is June 15-17, at Bristol Dragway in Bristol, Tennessee.
As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Friday, June 15 in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 3:45PM EDT (12:45PM PDT).
The Thunder Valley Nationals entry list is posted on NHRA.com and currently shows 16 Top Fuel, 17 Funny Car and 16 Pro Stock entries, but the counts are subject to change. Keep checking http://www.nhra.com/events/entrylist11.aspx for an updated entry list.
Pro Stock Motorcycle will not compete at this event.
