I have a "first gen" one in my 440 now and it idles just fine (800-850RPM).
Just a bit of rumpity rump:
They both close it too late. It was a bad choice for my engine, but...... It was $free.99. Maybe I should not have been so cheap?I'm thinking neither for an 8:1 engine. One has too much overlap, the other closes the intake valve too late.
I have an original one in a low compression 400. It leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not sure if 114° LSA would help mine.
