Still doesn't quite want to idle but pretty close. Might take the carb apart and check the idle circuit for clogs since it's been sitting for who knows how many years. I turned the idle mixture screws out 2 3/4 turns from tight, so that should be right or ? Since it seems like it leans out at idle maybe I'll mess with them a little more tonight and get the idle a little richer. The timing may still be a hair off too. That's interesting about the pertronix liking more advance, thanks for the heads-up prop! I'll check and see where I'm at tonight but I think it's at about 5 or 10°. Anyways, aside from needing a little more tuning, Frankenstein is finally among the living and sounding pretty damn mean! Maybe it's pissed from being off the road for so long haha

Lmao!! Too damn funny man! Can't wait to lay those first black stripes down the road.

Like that guy from Mad Max would say, "She's meanness set to music and the b*tch is born to run!"

Sounds great. Cant wait to hear mine running in the car. I would bet your initial timing will end up more around 15 degrees or so.

Badassery dripping all over that thing and echoing all around the house .. Sound awesome Speedy !! Your buddies look pretty impressed and excited by the sound of the Mighty Mopar rumble too hehehehe

YEHHH BUDDDEEE! I bet you're still smiling from ear to ear! Sounds great and congratulations on a huge milestone met with the car!!

Frankenstein lives!!!!! That's gotta be music to you're ears. Can't wait to hear it once it's dialed in. Speedy was that you on the left starting the Charger? For some reason I was expecting longer hair and a baseball cap LOL.

Congratulations on the maiden start. I have been following your thread and amazed at how for you have come and so fast on her. She is a beauty for sure. I hope to be where your at in about 3 months. Great work! Also, thanks for the tips on my dash pad, it turned out beautifully!
