i hope you have the support legs for the wing that go in the trunk to attach the wing to the trunk floor pan other wise the quarters will buckle under the strain the factory installed the braces on all the wing cars

See the drawing in post 459. I have plans to not only tie it to the floor, but into the suspension and the entire tube chassis cage.

No problem guys. All my photos are hosted in photobucket and I just link to them rather than upload them to this site. All the links are still links on the new platform and it appears all the previous uploads now have to be clicked on
 
Did a little more work to the floor bars today. I fitted the pieces of the original frame and tacked them onto the tube.

I tig welded the pieces to the tube inside and out. The TIG torch is giving me fits as it would shut off the gas flow if not held right. Time for a new power cable.

And...........from the outside of the frame. The little hole was factory. I decided to leave it. Holes weigh less....lol.

And welded. Once I grind the welds, you won't know how it was done.......... well, anyone reading this will.

Overall view.... now I'll finish the passenger side, weld everything out, grind the sheet metal welds and then cut out the factory torsion bar crossmember. I have a new chromoly tube trans crossmember going in between the inner frame rails. Once I get that in, I can finish up the motor plate, mid plate and limiters. Once that's done, I can finally pull the block out and get going on the engine build!
 
Is it going to be the hemi in the background by the door?
 
No, it will be an aluminum 540 hemi with twin Precision 7675CEA turbo's with the billet wheels and ball bearing center sections. Twin Air to Water intercoolers topped off with a 16 injector setup run by the Holley Dominator EFI. Hoping for 2000hp but expecting at least 1800. We'll see.
