70 Hemi Superbird Restoration..................errr.....scratch that........

No, it will be an aluminum 540 hemi with twin Precision 7675CEA turbo's with the billet wheels and ball bearing center sections. Twin Air to Water intercoolers topped off with a 16 injector setup run by the Holley Dominator EFI. Hoping for 2000hp but expecting at least 1800. We'll see.
Damn I think this might be the big one.....540 with twinsssss

Well how's it been going?
Lots of yard work, lol, and had to finish the 537 which left here this past Saturday. I have an 8-3/4 center chunk to change gears on tonight, a tube front conversion on a fox body on Sunday, and then strut plates to weld into another late next week so it's gonna be a little while!

Hemirunner can I ask what rear tranny mount you used. I was wondering if the stock one held up ok for you? I figured if it held it did for you it'd be fine for mine.

I use a stock style polyurethane rear mount. Held up fine in my other RR at 4250# and 1000hp on the spray with no issues.

Can I ask where you got your poly version? Thanks for the input!

Headlight buckets showed up as did all the decals for the car. I went ahead and ordered the decals since they came from the same place as the wing gaskets.

Are they fiberglass or steel? Look like fiberglass.....

They are fiberglass with steel pivot plates. I'm going to use 12volt linear actuators to raise and lower them. I need to mock them up in the nose and figure out the travel needed.

Nice. That'll be a time consuming little project. But I guess everything is ;0)

Yes it will. I only have about a thousand little time consuming projects to go! Lol. When you get the X on the road, you'll have to head over and check it out.

That's a big 10-4! I'm hoping it will be this fall.

BTW what motor mounts were you using? Solids? Not very happy with the Schumachers I have.

My green car has an alterktion and it included spool mounts. This car has a motor plate.
