70 Hemi Superbird Restoration..................errr.....scratch that........

I pulled the main assembly out, made two new rear bars and welded it out. It won't be able to be removed from this point forward.

Tacked it in with a couple of welds. All of the roof braces need to go in next. This whole assembly can be lowered to weld it out.

I finished up the shock tabs and anti roll bar tabs last night. The ARB tabs ended up where my brakes lines originally were prompting a relocation of those. My original plan was to run studs out the bottom instead of U-bolts. The problem with this plan is that studs won't swivel if pinion shims are used so I went back to U-bolts. Using these necessitated some holes in the back brace. Anyway, it's all reworked and going to the powdercoat shop today.

once again mike excellent, pure excellence. this is got to be one of the best builds on here and there is a lot nice builds on here. keep it up i look forward to this thread almost daily.

Thanks! ....we gotta long way to go. I just keep posting work as it happens. Hopefully, everyone enjoys watching the build.

Nice work, I'm another that's excited to see this one come together. If I ever get to do another I'd like to go wild on it like your doing, looks like way too much fun!

It's the first car of my own that I've gone this far from "stock" and it's a blast! I'm just more than a little tired of "correct", "original ", "stock", and "matching numbers " and this has been the cure!

Couldn't agree more.. I know when I go to the big Mopar shows around here I walk right past hundreds of beautiful cars just because they all blend together and are honestly just boring. Rest assured yours isn't one I'd walk past!
