71 Alignment specs and suggestions

What/how do you you usually set up your car with the alignment specs? I have had mine aligned a few times and it will go down the road straight, but changing lanes, or curves in the road get a little squirrley. I am taking it back Friday to have them fix it. Everything is new in the suspension front/rear including the box. I mainly do a lot of highway driving with this car. I think he has my caster/ and camber off. My left wheel has (+)1.6* cast, (+).03* cam. Right (+)1.2* cast, (-).02 Camb.

Hi, go here and read this, go down the page to the "skosh chart." That is what you want if you are running modern radial tires. Notice that you use MORE caster typically, and NEGATIVE camber, that's right leaning IN at the top, the opposite of the original specs

you should always remember that if you are running a 4 speed versus a automatic ,you need to run more caster that way you gain steering wheel returning to straight . I have been on the bench a long time and if you runn a raised up rear end ,your caster is going to change as is your toe .All these measurements are to be set up by a competent alignmen t shop and not by a shop that jacks up one side of the car at a time and scribe the tires and go from there .To me that is not a proper alignment .If you drag race your car your specs are going to be different versus stock . Everything changes with engine , road height , driver preference . some time you have to adjust a trial and area cause of where you live and the roads you drive on as well road crown it all makes a big difference.....just wanted to put in my 2 sense cause my ride will be sitting like they did in the seventy's .NICE AND HIGH ,JUST LIKE THE RAMCHARGERS DID WITH THERE SUPER BEE......
