Back then it seemed we had a lot of Modified production cars that were driven on the streets. I remember a small gas station on east Springs Road that was turned into a speed shop. They had a MP 56 Chev.

Bailey Brothers had a shop in Vallejo , I think?I remember there was a popular speed shop in Walnut Creek. We had several with Bailey Brothers being the bigest. I remember there were several instances where the City of Walnut Creek opened the fire hydrants and flooded the street to prevent cruising.
