Spoke with Greg yesterday and we discussed making the gasket for the 440-1 with a larger OD. He said he has seen the issue and thought about changing it some but went with the original specs on the gasket and since he already had a Die made, unless something were to happen to that Die, He wouldn't be making another. Also he stated that I shouldn't be using anything between the gasket and matting surfaces. No sealer, No Tack Spray, Nothing. He said he's seen many times where fuel witl mix with the adhesive and squirm around or push/Pull out. He said just install dry..But IMO that makes it very hard to cut the ports to the right shape without Tack Spray. I've always used Permatex High Tack on head side of the Intake gaskets and so far haven't had an issues.
