I'm trying to gauge what a decent, good, great, and crappy 60 foot time is for a 12 second car.
I've been in the low 2.0X/2.1X second 60ft range, and I'm certain I have the power to be in the high 12s in BOTH the Roadrunner and the GTO, but both cars are manual transmission cars. The Roadrunner has a lot more problems with wheelspin at the launch, and I'm about to address that. The GTO doesn't spin as much so far, but it is also a couple of 10ths and about 3 mph slower in the 1320.
I spoke with the drivers of several other cars in that 12 to 13 second range at the track a couple of nights ago, and the ones I talked with were also in the 2 to 2.xx 60 foot time range.
So, what about you all??
Thanks!
