I got hand me downs from my older cousin Joe,
he grew out of stuff really fast so... {he's 6'7" or so now}
I'd do work for my step dad Bob on Joes stuff cars motorcycles etc.
when he was a teenager, I was still young, I'd be sanding striping paint etc.,
mostly all the grunt work & my cousin Joe would "give me"
his ol' hand me down stuff, payments for my labors...
I earned them for sure...
It was a great time to be a kid back then & have a step dad into cars bikes
& a cousin that was totally cool, to a young kid too...

I always wanted a mini-bike but never had one. My cousin had one man I thought that was the greatest thing. Now I own this huge motor cycle that my dad left me. It sits in my shop in the way. I wouldn't ride that thing down to get the mail. I haven't started it in so long I don't think it would even run. Funny how we change with age. But as a kid anything gas powered!

I always wanted a Johnny West. But I grew up in rural WY and was told by my dad men don't play with dolls lol. Or wear short pants lol. But I sure remember Johnny West.
Yeah my Grammie bought them for me,
my step dad wasn't happy with her either :BangHead:,
it was the exact same way in our house too...

I had 5 sisters, all with Barbies etc., I was doomed...
