it had a slant six, will have a 360 4spd. got an 8 3/4 to go in, getting bucket seats, a tach, new gauges. i can go on and on. but i was wondering if you guys have run or are running any of these things.

1. aluminum radiator
2. electric fans
3. msd ignition box
4. a tach on the dash

im sure im wanting to ask more questions but theyll come later. my main concern is if anyones running these wat are the pros and cons of having any one of these?

I run a 4 core Champion aluminum radiator and have had no issues at all with it. 4 core is probably overkill. 3 would suffice. (just beware of the dreaded twisting/wracking issue that some aluminum radiators could have coming out of the box. Mine had about a 1/2 twist in it but that was a non-issue. Others I read about complained about 2in of twist or more.)

I just use the standard (non-flex) 7 blade non-viscous fan with no shroud and have no issues at all. 190 degrees no matter what the temp is or how I run it. (but if you want that little extra HP gain electric can offer go for it.)

I run the MSD 6AL box. MSD rocks...

If you want to run a more stock looking tach in-dash try http://rt-eng.com . I use this tach in mine and have been very satisfied with it. The circuit board on the aforementioned tach is compatible with the MSD box. If not, that is entirely a personal preference since clearly you aren't being all purist about the car.

lol no im not a purist, factory is for ppl with no imagination and a big wallet. i plan to go down to my local parts stores and pick up as much as i can so i can go over everything. i thank you for the info and your help. have fun with your car
