It was this advancement in springs that allowed for fast ramps.
There is next to no presure to initally open the valve and the spring only gets to 295# at max lift.
I think your valve springs took out your cam.
Did you tell Lunati you were using those springs? If not...DON'T

I already got money back!! What spring is recommended with those 911 single with damper or the beehive

I went on their site and there is no info on, recommended valve springs, for that cam.
What did they suggest, on the cam card?
 
 
I would find out what caused the cylinder scraping with only 100 miles on it.? I see a lot of carbon buildup on the cylinder ridges at the top and on a few pistons for such low mileage. Why a cam change at 100 miles anyway ? Just trying something new or is there a little more to this story ?

Originally the motor had a solid lifter cam 590 had about 40 passes at drag strip
Then I put motor in street car with 509 grind put about 30 miles on that wanted something with better street manners but good power so went with Lunati cam and put about 20 miles on that then heard noise

Few Pistons?
 
Still trying to figure out what got into the combustion chamber. What ever it had to come by intake or past valve guides.

I know of a guy that snapped a Racer Brown!
I wiped 2 Comp Cams and a MP 292/508. All were properly broken in BUT this was before 2008 when the info on Zinc/ZDDP was still not commonly known.
I ran a Lunati 316/326 solid for awhile...A real power producer but a bit choppy for me at the time. I may slip it back in though. The car sure was fast!

Check the oil pump rotor. You will surely find metal imbedded in there.
The shavings from the cam and lifters does NOT entirely collect in the oil filter. The oil drains to the pan, the oil pump sucks the oil through the pickup tube and THEN is passes through the filter.

The pump is a high volume I have a Milidon 6 qt pan. I was going to go back to standard but will clean pump for sure and check

If your asking how the scratches got there...metal off cam lobes will go anywhere, and everywhere, oil goes in the engine. Note, you want to look at cam, and crank bearings, too. Probably trashed.
