CDN72SE's Restoration Thread

I was just talking to Stephan a hour ago. He just got a bunch more goodies back from the plater. My goodies included.
Dewey certainly does beautiful work eh?

Can't wait for mine to be home in the shop so I an try some assembly for once.
Looking really Good!

Just went to the mailbox in my mask and gloves to pickup a package, just kidding but it's just weird going outside, lol.

Got one NOS white door pull strap, came in the original packaging and all, just has a little rust on the ends that i will sand off and then maybe apply some RPM to the ends. Just need another strap and some of the mounting clips (mounting clips are on their way).

The two black ones I was going to spray with white SEM paint but then changed my mind.

The bottom two black ones is what I used to use when I drove the car. They are Canadian Tire (Canadian parts store) cheapies found in the Help section, but did a good job.

Picking and choosing what I will go with that's original to the car.

Thanks Kent, step up from the old 318. Just need to arrange delivery to the house and put the accessories on. Wish I had my double car garage still.

You know those SB . Watch the revs. I can't remember how many I wrapped.

Yes, when you get spread out like these cars can get room is a virtue. Right now I'm at the body shop, my basement, my son's old bedroom and of course my garage. I have a very understanding wife! lol She did talk me out of selling the Charger a few years ago.

Understanding wife really helps, mine not so much, she tries. Had parts in my parents attic, my basement, in the unfinished ceilings, everywhere.
My wife calls me a hoarder, I say I'm not that's just my dissembled car everywhere.

I hear you. Nope mine is good but I promised I'd do the interior of the house over when I'm done.

Oh I'm sort of a tool hoarder and the list is growing. My son will get it all someday. If he wants it. lol Lord know he uses a lot of my tools now as it is.

It's getting there.
Anyway, the reason I asked about where you got the dyno work done is....my 360 engine is ready to be broken in, but rather than do it in the car when the time comes, I'd rather have it done on an engine stand. The closest place to me is in Fonthill at a place called New Generation engines.
A high school buddy owns the place.
