DePouli's 1969 Charger 318

The grill has been backordered since Nov...

But decided to put the header panel in

And the bumper... Needs adjustment but...

But my helper is back out... And not one bit mad at me for scratching his car... cause he knows I will fix it...

Quarter Panel Extension never fit good after the crash... Still fit like crap and barely held on. Snapped a stud on the left one... definitely one of those days.

Once again wishing I did my own metal and paint work...

A few other bits, but I'm running out of steam...too much not perfect is destroying my motivation.

I slide a deep socket over the drill bit when trying to do things like that. Controls depth and gives the chuck jaws a surface to spin on that isn't painted.

Even with the hiccups you're still moving forward. Keep fighting the good fight!

 Wow! I feel for you.
Seems like when days like these happen they just keep getting worse.

Couldn't take it I had to spray bomb the rest of the tail panel peice. With the bumper on it just didn't look right.

Really loving this thread....
The hood thing sucks, but if it was easy, everyone would do it. I did something very similar a few years ago. ...I was pissed for a while. ...but got over it.
Now it's nothing but a funny story....!
