Did you ever insist you had the lyrics right, but didn't?

The Band....I am sure that a few times he says" take a load off Manny" but they tell me it is " take a load off Annie" Whatever that means ?? I said that to an intern named Manny--a Dr. backed me up on it. Manny looked it up on a computer and said it was Annie.................Mary Jane has rendered many people confused..........8-) ...................MO
I do believe that it's "take a load off Fanny."

Rocket Man.
"Burning down his fuse out here alone."

The band with the name of 'The Sweet' the song, 'Ballroom Blitz'.
What the lyrics say: she could kill you with a wink of her eye.
What I heard: she could thrill you with a wet surprise.

If anybody could post a clip of a group called Shocking Blue, they had a hit back in the day "Venus". My business partner when hearing it on radio some years later thought they were singing " I'm your penis"
