Hey everyone, what do you recommend for a distributor and electronic ignition box my 69 RR with a 383? The car has a 383 stroker hooked up to a 4 speed tranny. I was hoping to find something with somewhat stock appearance but with performance output. I dont mind paying for quality but i dont want to go overboard on cost either. Thanks in advance.

Mopar performance. This is what I run. Reliable, cheap and stock appearance. This is your best bet

Yup Mopar performance, look into the orange box version.

I like the Mopar Performance ones too.

I'm very happy with FBO's setup. The distributor looks stock but the ECU doesn't. The distributor is phased to your application.

I agree 100%. And as mentioned in other threads, IF something happens everything is available at the local parts store (NAPA). No shipping away for anything.

I have a Summit billet distributor and Summit CDI box, runs very well!!!
