Thanks 747, It has been a HUGE undertaking to say the least! I have put a lot of time into the car and I am still not even close to being over the hump!

The good thing is I can see it in my head, it just takes me a long time to get there....

The way you have things looking, the long time to get there will be great when its done and your cruising down the highway! Great work your doing!!

I can't wait to see you tackle putting the front clip on your Charger. I hope you do a step by step.

Man, that is going to be a project and a half swapping front clips, really looking forward to seeing that happen. The replacement looks great!

Here is your step by step......

1st I added bracing to locate the front half of the roof.
The bracing goes all the way down to the frame jig and is welded only at the jig.
I did not weld the bracing to the roof. I did this because I may be replacing the entire roof.

Next I removed the rear seat floor pan

Then I added more bracing at the back half of the roof

Thanks speed, with what I have planned, it better not move!

I have another compleat roof, with a-pillars that I am thinking about putting on.
Kinda scary to think about taking the entire top off!!!:surprised-005:

it don't look like you have had any fear so far :)

Holy s..t! :icon_eek: you're starting to run out of Charger Don, you sure you don't want a drop-top at this point? :laughing6:

But that's going to be some really amazing work to watch if you do end up going that route. Do your existing A-pillars have some issues or mainly the roof?

And I thought I had it rough! You're considering replacing the roof as well as the front clip! That's going to be a hell of a job Don, good luck.

Thanks cdr, but I think it's more like not having any sense!

Hey speed, it would probably be easier.... But where would I put the rebel flag?:toothy12:
Speed, look back on page 2 for the a-pillar issues....
the roof has it's own issues.... I'll try and get some pictures and document.

Yeah, there is not going to be much left of the original car!
