Here in "The People's State", we're being pounded by the snowstorm. Around 8:30 last evening, we cleaned about 10" off the driveway & deck & this morning, there's even more and some of the drifts are pretty high. The weather babes say that it's going to wind down by evening.

My PT is buried under that pile of snow, and the measurement was taken just outside my front window!

I'm sure the sleds are ready;am I correct,Mr. Cranium? We only received about 6-7 inches around here;I'm getting my old crap out later today.

The sleds are in NH. If we can dig out here today, I'd like to go an dig out up there. I think the riding will have to wait until next weekend.

Thanks for sharing those photo's realy shows what everyone is going to be doing the next few days. Good luck shoveling out your doorway.

Rich;there's even more up that way! Remember;pace yourself shoveling(or tell your hired help-the children?) so you can enjoy the sleds and not the cardiac care unit.

Oh Pops;I don't EVEN want to know where the intake is on the above pic. I did laugh my arse off! Thanks!

Buuurrrrrrrr

:iamwithstupid: Dick weren't you just saying/complaining, a little while ago, about "not having any snow" ??, be careful for what you wish for "it might come true"...LOL...he he ha ha, all at once too...sorry I couldn't resist... In all seriousness, Damn I feel for ya guys back east, looks pretty deep, in the cold devil white crap there... That kind of looks like a Seirra Snow storm now :headbang: , stay warm, drive safe, don't over do it shoveling/clearing snow, pace your self... you will at least, will have snow for your sleds now... have I said it before ??, I freaken hate snow...

We got over 2' here & I'm not complaining at all. My driveway & deck are clean now, but I still have to touch up my office buiklding after the plow comes. The snowmobiles are at the cottage in NH, however, because there is a driving ban here, so they can clean the streets, I'm stuck at home. My intent was to go to NH later this this afternoon, but I don't know if that will happen.

Wow - I sure am glad that mess misssed us, although we probably could use a little more snow.

Sublmegtx you got hit hard also..... some heavy snow on your roof......

24-30" here there's a snowmobile in that pic somewhere. View attachment 101948

no thanks, not for me... have fun diggen' out...LOL... IMHO it's better out there, then here, we get enough of them type snow storms all the time, but it's pretty normal for here at the higher elevations in the Sierras...

We got about 22" here. I live on a private gravel road that I plow (about 3/8 of a mile), plus I plow for my two elderly neighbors. Not sure how many hours I spent in the plow truck this weekend, plus clean up with my tractor.
Did manage two x country ski tours from my back door. One mile through the woods with the snow knee high or higher tested my endurance (and stupidity).
