Im at 32 degrees timing now with 15.8 compression.
I want to try 34 degrees to see if I gain anymore for the big race this Saturday.
Am I pushing it with 15.8 compression?

Not as long as there is no detonation. I doubt a small chamber will see much improvement at 34 degrees. But it mike like 30, never know until you try.

guessing 3100#'s give or take a 100#'s with car & driver
1/4 mile with appr. 960-980hp @ sea level to be able to run 8.60-ish ET
is what it calc's out as...

should rock & roll for sure

No it's 3389 lbs. with car and driver.
Car likes 34 degrees but I lose 1.5 mph. Et goes down though.

This motor better make more than 960-980 hp or i'd be looking for a new hobby. Hell my 13:0 584 hemi in my 5 plymouth made close to that.

I thought your car was 2900#'s & guessed at the weight with you in it for the 3100#'s

Budnick's I wish it was 2900 lbs. I got to figure a way to shed some pounds without ruining its look and originality. It's too nice to cut up.

So the cutting has begun to install the new hood scoop. Mocking it up and then off to my body man for final paint and fit. New hood pin location has to be fitted AS well.
