Now that it's nice outside again, I have a bit more time with the FITECH.
I have to throw this out there, but I can't help notice the throttle takes a considerable amount of pedal force, longer drives is very annoying. Has anybody done something different on their setup so this amount of force is not so extreme?

I assume you removed your stock return springs? If so, a lot of guys have removed the spring on the secondary side of the throttle body. If you try it, take a lot of pictures before disassembling it.
After installing the FITech I swapped to a Lokar cable assembly. I know what you mean though, the accelerator still feels "heavier".

I put one on my son's car, it's a 302 stroker and it is amazing when in operation. Probably one of the best I've ever installed. Price is right and setup is a breeze. Good to 650 hp and it controls both the fuel pump and cooling fans as well as "kick up" for AC cars. I think his FiTech is far superior to the MSD on my 65 Coronet in every way including 1/3 the price. Don't take my word for it when I say it's a great upgrade, read this: As far as the accelerator feeling heavier - bullshit! You don't need any extra springs with these units, the spring is the wound type right on the throttle shaft at the base of the unit. If you install a throttle cable wrong, you'll have binding.

Yatzee: Your experience may be different than others on this subject. If you Google it you'll see that a lot of guys complain about the increase in pedal pressure. I asked if he had REMOVED his stock springs, as they aren't necessary. I have dual throttle bodies with a Lokar cable and a stock crossram bellcrank. I REMOVED the secondary springs from the throttle bodies but didn't like the pedal feel. I then reinstalled the secondary springs and fabricated new linkage arms to attach to the top holes on the throttle body arms, thus increasing the leverage. I'm happy with the feel now and I can get WOT on both throttle bodies.
I definitely have no binding, I'm using the BPE throttle linkage and cable, same as on the carb. The throttle cable is not binding. My stock return springs were removed, I also posted a pic of the setup earlier in this thread.
There is quite a noticeable difference in pedal force required to move the accelerator.

I put the meanstreet 800 unit on my 493 stroker and love it. WAAAAAY smoother operation and instant throttle response. Only annoying issue I have run into is after it fires up nice and easy, if it shuts off before coming up to temp it is a bear to get started again. I'm sure I just have to do some adjustments, but other than that I love the system. Great product

Just curious what pump are you running?
Here's an update on my Fitech Experience thus far, I'm struggling to say anything positive at this point.
Yesterday was the warmest temperature I've driven the car since installation 100+F.
The fuel CC quit three times on me, first idling at a light, second after taking out of gear coming down to a stop, and third in my driveway. The third time after diagnosing appears the pump shuts down, it appears to probably be overheating. I was skeptical about the operation of this command center and my initial thoughts were correct, I tried it anyway.
Has anybody else been experiencing this? Is there a workaround? It's frustrating and sure wish FITECH could have tested this prior to selling the unit.

98% of the time when I hear negative feed back on the fitech units it has to do with the command center, get rid of it.
I'm with you at 100% agreement. The FCC needs more R&D, hopefully FITECH can reach out to customers if there is a fix.
The only reason I went with this route rather than in tank, was Tank's Inc. seems to accommodate all the MOPAR's with the exception of 62-65 B bodies, very unfortunate.
If I ever find out they make them, I'll be jumping on it ASAP.

Ya I don't think they have anything pre 67, I believe the dart fuel tank is very similar and can fit pre 67 models with minor modifications. Might want to look at going that route and get rid of that command center asap
I sell these units daily and I am constantly assisting over on FABO. wish i would have seen this thread sooner. If i can assist with a sale, or help with any tech let me know. If anyone having trouble with them, purchased them from me, I can gladly step in with their tech process also.
Have a bunch of happy customers with these and snipers, and you usually have a 99% success chance as long as its setup correctly, with the correct ignition and fuel equipment.

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I bought my setup through summit. As I've been reading this morning, it appears the Chevelle forum has similar complaints. One of the individuals has some comments of stepping down the PWM % to ~40% during low load, idle, conditions. I'm going to try this out after I receive a new controller cable, the fragile end broke of inside the jack on the controller, ughh.
Gotcha. I didn't read the whole thread. But we do sell the retro-fit in-tank setups from fitech, aeromotive and holley. Obviously more intensive install, but much less problematic, and truthfully the "better" way to go about it in my opinion. I really only recommend the FCC for "concourse" type guys that don't want to drop a tank, or jeopardize oem appearance. Its a cool idea, and there is nothing "wrong" with it, but as some guys are finding out, you basically have 2 fuel pumps on your car at that point..so...law of averages, thats more moving parts to go south.

Fitech just came out with a new G Surge module that does not have a float. This allows it to return fuel to the tank at all times to cool the pump better. There is a setting in the hand held, that will let you slow the pump with PWM at low rpm so it can run cooler. The PWM settings work for both FCC or the
G Surge unit.
