Am I correct in assuming that you didn't use the incorrect semi-clear gaskets?

You are correct.....The second pic shows the grey gasket. The CAD clips were not used because the ones from the X were black zinc. The NOS kit was a superseded kit with part number starting with 3. The cylinders are correct but the gaskets and clips were not...

I think RC was testing you.

Just got done with latest issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines and I foresee a future article coming out with your car on the cover!

AND probably most of the whole magazine with the detail you've got into it!

Here is the bracket that attaches the glass to the window cranks mechanism. The original "Blue" attachment plug was reused. The repops are off white and are tight. Installed the door fuzzies and I had to finish it off with the for chrome. The original clips were reused and repainted green as they were originally. Not the direction of the clips in the pics and don't put them in backwards...

just caught up on this thread because it was mentioned in another as a place to get ideas for front suspension paints. I commend you for taking the time to make everything correct. It's not MY thing but I know it is a labor of love. Great job and a bitchin car.

More rear window parts. The old grommet was better than the new version so I reused it. Rear windlass trim and new attachment screws.

The glass is from ECS and is correctly stamped and dated. Original hardware was zinc phosphated and the spacers and gaskets are from Mega Parts. Install the spacers/gaskets and bolts on the glass first. The gaskets will hold the bolt in place for install.
