I barely bumped it with the ratchet and the high quality piece of Chinese engineering came apart. I was a tad angry and decided it was beer time, till tomorrow!

I forgot to mention having the booster out of way, and being under the dash is the perfect time to change the broken speedometer, that’s also what’s taking me so long. While I’m under the car replacing the speedometer cable might as well change the oil…….aaah snowballs

Is this the correct brake light switch? I can’t seem to get it in (yeah I know, here comes the jokes)

Looks like the bracket is out of the retaining slot. I also had to bend the bracket a bit to square it up.

The bracket is out of place because of trying to fight the switch to get into it, which is why I’m asking if it’s correct

Take the bracket off, install switch, put it back together.

I also remember having to file the flat on the switch a bit to fit the bracket

I figured it’s time to remove the break in oil. Nice and golden, with no glitter

While I was down there, I removed this. Exhaust and speedometer cables don’t get along

Well it’s late, a storm is rolling in, so I didn’t bolt the seat in and take it out for a test, but it’s back together! Just letting go of the clutch with the brakes on it seemed to hold better. I’ll have to do a more accurate test tomorrow.

Either the brake pedal sits too low still, or the clutch pedal sits to high
