Golden Goddess heart surgery

This list is done. Only thing I didn’t get to was the door handles, kinda thought about getting a nicer less pitted pair but couldn’t find any cheap enough for me to want, so I’ll keep these. That’s probably it for the car other than some little things here and there.

Speedometer cable keeps popping out of the back of the speedometer, other then that everything works, and she finally looks like a complete car . So it’s time to just enjoy it.

It says on the site that is compatible with, of course theirs, other brands. You calibrate it on the bench first going through the procedure in the instructions. There may be a kicker about stock gauges not said but that may be a tech line question. I plan on using the cluster from AEM[ Holley owns them now too] as they are the manufacture of my engine management system so I should be groovy.
I put one in my Sat calibrated all good after a couple of flat batteries it dumped its memory so you have to take it out to reprogram looks like in goes a tank inc floatless

In the new Modern Rodding magazine[ probably find it online too], they cover the new Holley unit that utilizes LIDAR. Pretty interesting unit! They cover the calibration procedure well. Looks like a winner.

Where have you been, man? You used to post a LOT but you haven't been around as much lately.

The GTX has a substantial oil leak from the distributor, and I’ve just had too much going on, and the weather has changed. I just haven’t had time or energy lately

For some reason his distributor won’t seat. I haven’t been over there to actually see why, standing up hurts after a few minutes.

@5.7 hemi standing hurts for you, bending hurts for me, what a great team

I tried 2 o rings I had from other distributors, I guess they were too big. I bought one that apparently comes with a gasket at Oreillys, I’m hoping the gasket helps, but it hasn’t even left the car yet. I just have too much going on, and just haven’t had the time or energy.

You shouldn’t need a gasket other than the o ring. Gonna need to pull the distributor to see if the bronze bushing is worn as Marpar pointed out.
