Has anyone bought a car from Canada and shipped to states?

Yes get the main stuff figured out, and come back with the fine line questions, that maybe others have been through

..and before you get too far into it. You do have a valid passport correct and ZERO criminal record including any old DUI's?!
I agree, if you have a DWI, DUI in the US you cannot enter Canada for 10 years after the charge.
A fellow from Bismarck wanted to race at our track, had a DUI. Was refused because it was 8 years ago.
Another couple relocating from somewhere in southern US were moving to Alaska. Husband had a DWI previously . Had to leave his wife and children to drive through Saskatchewan,Alberta British Columbia and the Yukon to get to Alaska. He had to go to Seattle and fly to Alaska.
Most cases, you serve your suspension and carry on. If I remember correctly at one time you could enter Canada having had a marijuana conviction on your record.

My brother bought a modified Jeep out of Alberta that was already in the country, his winter visitor neighbor on the Colorado river brought it in. I think the neighbor had to pay a duty to bring it in. There was 2 inspections done and it needed to be US certified. He had a little issue as it was fitted with a 392. But it did pass smog.
