I need really ugly car recommendations

Here is a high-end homeless community where some ugly cars are dwellings.
I see no ugly bicycles or skateboards that could contaminate the neighborhood. I suppose their HOA has a consensus to keep eyesores properly out of view for the good of the whole.View attachment 588431
Very upscale! I see no shopping carts.

And it starts at a measly $230K USD.

Yep--This must be the "east side" where they "moved on up" to. They now have to hang onto their new quality of life and maybe an HOA for them will keep the neighborhood stable.

All you'd be doing is fueling the fire.

Instead of making your yard look bad, make theirs look bad, and not by sabotage. Trim your bushes, paint the fence, pressure wash the house, add a statue or fountain with a flower bed, put your best vehicles in plain site. Take your flags down except the American flag and state flag. Redo your driveway to where it looks like stone.
A man's home is his castle. Might as well make it look like Buckingham palace. Then sell it because you don't want to be with the riff raff.
Or, you can take their report into consideration, make a few changes, and live in peace with your neighbors.

Well, THIS is the mature thing to do but not as much fun as buying shitty cars to protest the bullshit regulations!

My personal favorite is a 62' Dart. So ugly, they are cool. Anything ugly after that is just ugly with no cool factor.

It's ugly but cool. I sold mine in 1974, got the drivetrain back but not the car.:(

I have been looking for one. All my friends think I am nuts.

Back in the day my friends and I had to shield our eyes when we walked by an old Kaiser-Frazer parked on the street.

Now that I look at these pics I'm reminded that the ones from my kid memory were rusted and dirty.

At least it's a blocked & rubbed finish.

I saw Motor Trend test this and the Tesla X near Painted Canyon in CA a couple of years ago.

For that price it better rub me to a finish.

I drove a Bentley V 12 coupe in 2008....was a fast car but not something that blows my skirt up much. The Bentleys are pretty much hand built cars however & compared to robot built Porsches for the same money thereabouts, I would opt for the Bentley. Hand made IS different. Apples & oranges, just a different aura. I did own a deTomaso Mangusta, only 401 entirely hand built.....the deTomaso Panteras were assembly line cars....though both deTomasos, the two felt entirely different. As far as Teslas.......no interest whatsoever.

I quite like the Continental (a good friend drives one) and maybe even the Mulsanne, but the Bentayga is a ghastly looking machine. I tend to see one or two a week, stuck in the same traffic that I'm in and seemingly lacking turn signals or common sense.

I really like that pic of you with the Mangusta. Very beautiful machine Bladecutter. I'm envious.

Get a nice cheap car. Paint it in the camo style, using MOPAR Sub Lime and Panther Pink. Then keep it clean and driveable.

crown vic , just a used cop car should make a statement .
When you bought the house what did it say in the hoa papers does it say how many you can park or not. Look it up and hand it back to them and tell them i don't see anything on the by laws about how many cars you can have. Next thing is find out what everyone else is pissed off about and get people to start protesting againest them. This will shut them down for awhile. The best thing i i heard was the neighborhood took on the hoa over walking the dogs.

I'm not sure it matters what car you choose to "show off", just make sure it's on blocks and has fluids leaking. Rust is a plus..

I still like the idea of selling your house to a somebody who will rent it out to a bunch of minorities. "The Gift that keeps on giving."

Thanks Man, it is a cherished memory for certain. The Goose was not a fast, superior handling car in stock form as deTomaso was broke, & basically cranked out prototypes, no real R&D program, just making small revisions throughout production. But the mystique & feel of the car were stand alone, the driving feedback was stellar up to point of loss of adhesion,, then it got very exciting, dangerous as hell, but exciting nonetheless.
In 2016, I was gratified by a German Mustang magazine that did an article on Mangusta & included me in the article......10,000 miles added to the odometer, & years later an article, I got my money's worth from the Goose, & then some.
On the Mopar side, I miss my 68 post/bench/318 Coronet 440 almost as much as the Mangusta. Just by a gnat's *** really. :)
Take Care 69BBody!
