I saw the holy grail today !!!!!!

Hey guys just had to share this with you all as I can not stop thinking about it! So back story the little town I work in has a big mopar guy that lives their I had never meet this guy stopped by his house a few times knocked on the door but never got an answer figured he didn't want anyone on his place! So yesterday Im driving home from work and figure I drive by this guys house holy crap hes outside doin some work so I stop introduce myself and right away he knows my last name! So we talk a little more and he knows my dad knows some of the cars we have witch was a huge shock since some of them have been tucked away in storage since the early 90's! Anyway we procced to shoot the sh*! and I ask if he might have some 68' GTX parts that I'm looking for! I tell him what im looking for and he says sure got a couple of those come on in the shop ! I WALK IN AND SEE IT A 69' CHARGER R/T 426/4 SPEED TRACK PACK CAR ALL NUMBERS MATCHING we walk by this baby to go look at the tailpanel of a 68' GTX in the corner O that just happens to be a 426/4 speed convertable !! My jaw dropped and along side it was a 71' CUDA 440 6pack/4 speed car I was in awwwe !! now granted the charger was not restored all original waiting to be brought back to life the 68' GTX ran but was needing some body work and the cuda was being put back together after new paint !! I looked each of these 3 cars over very good the 2 hemi cars were real for sure J in the vin says so and the v coded cuda as well and many other great cars 69 coronet r/t 71' demon 68' dart GTS ! I did not snap any pics as I was just happy to be on this guys place but after talking with him for 2 1/2 hours he welcomed me back and offered help with my current project this was awesome I should of tried harder years ago to get in contact with him! Anyway just had to share
will try and get some pics next time I stop !!

Wow thats great. I have one guy I know of in town near me that is a BIG mopar guy. He has a metal forming company in an old factory and it is PACKED wall to wall with mopars !He DOSN'T let people in but I have been talking with him over the years and we have become good freinds. I was there the other day looking at his Polara drag car on the lift and had the wife with me so he let me show her some of his cars. She is New to mopars and never saw a Super bird or Viper in race trim plus a d100 or the many chargers . Some 440. some hemi's . Motor's All over the place and some with other parts. I realy like this guy and he has offed to help me with parts for my car. Heck he even has some shelby turbo cars. I don't think he would like to have pic's taken of them but I may ask one day ? Just nice to talk with him as most all the others in town are Coffie can Fart muffler cars !! LOL!!

For sure he has a huge hoard of 68' GTX parts to restore his but lots of doubles or triples said anything I needed to let him know was a really cool guy ! No more scouring ebay and swap meets what a time and gas saver he will be for me !!:grin:
