our church had the annual fall festival yesterday. They have a number of things, hay rides, horse rides, chili contest, corn recipes and pumpkin chunkin. So I spent all month building a trebuchet with a 12 foot arm and over 500lb of tractor weights. I named it The Arm of God. After tuning it I was ready, loaded it on the trailer and hauled it to church. Now mind you I have never built a trebuchet before and the competition was stiff with experienced builders.
My second shot was over 300 feet and enough for the trophy.
It was great fun
