If you had to pick a non Mopar?

I was always a Big Fan of Buicks especially the Stage GS's, my Pops always had Buicks when I was young, although he new nothing really about cars, my step dad Bob did {he was a Pontiac & Mopar guy} & showed me allot of cool stuff about the Olds, Buicks & Pontiacs of the mid 60's - late 70's, I've had several different GTO's,442's & GS's when I was younger...

I also love a Ford Maverick. I have a 73 Maverick Grabber, kind of an overlooked car I think on the muscle car scene, if you can call them a muscle car, they are different than what you see at every car show anyhow.

I had a friend in the ~84 timeframe who had a 302/4 speed orange one that he had bought new .. was pretty bad ***. Concur they are under rated and probably under-known is the reason

I'll also say the first gen AMX's have grown on me over the years. They were just ramblers when I was a young er man, but there's a few badazz ones around here.

Hell, I don't know what I would get. There are so many cool cars out there by both the domestic manufacturers and the imports. Although the Mopars are my favourite, I love cars period!!!

Sorry guys, I just don't dig the imports regardless whether it's a Lamborgini, Ferrari, BMW, ETC, they just don't look "mean" maybe fast but not "mean".

Fairlanes are really nice cars. How about a 65 Fury. Has the same look on the front ant it's still a Mopar. I'd love to build a 65 Sport Fury ragtop with a Gen III Hemi. If it has to be non-mopar, probably a 69-70 Fastback Mustang. Of course i have lots of ideas. How about a Triumph TR6 with a new Pentastar V6, If I could find a manual trans for it.

for the cool factor its hard to beat the Rebel machine and scrambler rambler in red white and blue, also think the 2 seater amxs are neat, as well as the sc360, i think if you are a muscle car guy you need to have a mustang and a gto in your stable, mustangs were the start of the pony car era and gto gave and identity to the muscle car.i like the 64 389 tri power gto and maybe a 67-70 fastback mustang, big block 4 spd. there is an awful lot of very cool cars out there if you take off the mopar blinders... :)
The 67-68 Rebel is really cool. It looks very Roadrunnerish to my eye.
