IMPOUNDED

Oh, if it was me, i'd walk into every business there & tell them I'm starting a "Boycott OC Cruise" campaign, and inform the mayor as well.. Telling them, blame your asshole p.d.

The issue w ticket is similar to no insurance. If the officer cites the obstructed vision and let's the driver drive away, then the driver gets in an accident that was due to obstructed vision, the department is liable. The vehicle must be towed by a legal tow company. Unfortunately in today's "Sue happy" society, the departments have to look out for liability.

Yes, like everyone else unfortunately. I do understand it. I just don't agree with it. The world is so wrapped up in twisted concepts of where personal responsibility lies that we think that something like this is normal and rational.

I’d take this photo to court. Blocking the street and intersection? For a running car? Just to make a point to all the car guys on the scene.

where is @HEMI-ITIS ? He got a ticket for no hood at Carlisle. Guess they didn’t care about the equipment rising skyward.
I did get a ticket driving the Pike in Carlisle. State law in PA is NOTHING higher than 3 inches above the hoodline and you must wear a hood. Shorty, the cop let me go on ALL the obstruction of vision violations. The gauges on the cowl, blower scoop, even the fuzzy dice hanging off the rearview mirror!
The ticket for no hood was $145,,,,,,I mailed it in.

How about the laws about objects protruding from your back bumper? I would have to check here but I think it's 12-18". How many bike racks or 5th wheel boxes have you seen without lights or reflectors? Sometimes the bikes are so dense you can't see the brake lights. And if I rear end your car it becomes my fault.

Nothing, It took them over an hour to charge me after pulling me over. There was a crowd of over 100 people gathered on the sidewalk next to the car and some were yelling at the cops and everyone was filming. IMO they had to get me with something no matter how BS it was to "set an example". It worked because this was all over FB and most blown cars were trailered in to the show instead of being driven after that.

The car was 100% Maryland legal. Mufflers, DOT street tires, seat belts, lights, turn signals, etc.

I even have Maryland Street Rod plates. These plates are only for driving to events, and you have to send pictures of all modifications to the DMV. They have pictures of the scoop and everything on file and told me I'm legal. I'm registered and insured.
Then fry their asses in molasses!

Visuals? One time I had parked at a gas station in Lake Geneva and some guy decided to park behind a few cars in the drive through lane with a long low boat trailer (empty). I was starting to back out and bump…I hit the side of the trailer. Never saw it as it sat so low to the ground. Good thing I was going slow; no sig damage, but did leave a marr on my rear pan below the bumper I later buffed out. I looked at this trailer and wow nothing on it, no reflectors, indicator posts…super long trailer for a huge boat, low enough to have clearance under bridges for whatever yacht this would haul.
